First; Yes, I am a real person. If you say, “Troll”;  I think why not and next thing I’m already googling cool bridges. I am a lover of history, art, craftsmanship, antiques..anything old and weird. Owner of hundreds of books, cartoons - Hardcover, paperback, ebooks, audiobooks. Animals yes, except fishes, butterflies and maybe birds, but at the moment a dog and cat. A huge idol to Murphy, that's the Murphy from Murphy’s law, not some random dude called Murphy, which probably would be better. I also have a weird and quirky kind of humour that flares up from time to time. 

 

Writing..writing.. Yes, so I do write. Still write, all about writing. Also drawing, restoring, some gardening, but let's talk about my writing. Me, not a writer person. Never liked to write, only read. What I read? Fantasy, SciFi, historical fiction (mostly sea history), real history, urban fantasy, steampunk, mysteries, adventure, some romance and mind fucking books (yeah, those are those “fifty shades of grey” kinds of books) .

Anyway, there are so many genres and subgenres and I do read almost anything that interests or my mind needs just rest, but my writing is solid sea history fiction ground. Pure fiction, laying loosely on real sea history and myths. 

 

So, me not a writer, but my writing is a result of a pure stumble of learning to write English and having a friend sharing my love of sea history. One quirk that you need to know. I’m not a native English-speaking person. Not even English. Did I shock you? Here is more. L. E. Gray is a pen name. To calm you down, the person in the picture is real me. Not a fan of cameras or vice versa, so those are rare treats that you see (and yes, I own that hat) My logo, Warlocks crest, some pictures here (not cover), all me. I told you, I draw..also paint.

 

About Cranmore saga; that is what I’m writing, will in earnest, when ready, consist of three books and one short story, pre-dating book three. It is a family saga going thru 200 years, starting middle of the 1700s ending somewhere around WWII and a little after. 

 

So in order there will be;

Are you still with me, so far? Good. Now, family sagas may feel boring as hell, right? Wrong, this is not a “When I was born in year..etc” story or not coming off age or some teenage stuff either. I hope what it will be is for adult adventure, action, pirate, WWII history-based story to all those who loved those books when growing up and want to read them still, but in an adult way. There will be multiple plots and characters. Plot 1 goes thru all 3 books, just because I do love those moments where you read a series and you have enjoyed all that has been happening and in the end, you are “Oh, now I get it”. So yes, plot 1 will be like that. Then there will be plots in every book, which means you will be able to read them separately, you probably miss small nuances, but you will enjoy them anyway.

 

What I can promise there will be:

-Pirates, navy

-Ships, wooden and iron

-Murder, mayhem, battles, wars

-Deceptions, loyalties

-Action, adventure

-Humour

-Losses (you will be crying)

-Sailor’s beliefs, myths

-Treasure(s)

-Characters that you love and hate

 

 And for the last words, to sum this all up;
